New construction wiring

Electrical work for new commercial buildings, from the service and panels to the lights, outlets and equipment connections.

A new building needs its electrical system planned along with the rest of the project. Service size, panel locations, lighting, outlets and equipment circuits all have to fit the plans and the way the building will be used.

We work with owners and general contractors on new shops, offices, warehouses, churches and other commercial buildings. We wire from the plans you have and raise questions early if something doesn’t look right.

How it works

We review the plans and give you a written estimate before any work starts. Once the job is underway, our work follows the construction schedule: underground and service work first, rough-in once the framing is up, then trim-out and final connections near the end.

New commercial construction usually needs inspections at several stages, and we have our work ready for each one. Where needed, we coordinate with the utility on the new service.

Signs you need it

When to give us a call.

Any of these is a good reason to have us take a look.

01

Plans are being drawn

Bringing us in early helps get service size and panel locations right before anything is built.

02

You’re collecting bids

We can review the drawings and price the electrical scope in writing.

03

The site is being prepared

Underground conduit for the service and outside lighting may need to go in before the slab is poured.

04

The framing is up

Rough-in wiring goes in once walls are framed and before they’re closed up.

05

Equipment is being chosen

Knowing what equipment goes where lets us plan its circuits from the start.

06

Plans change mid-build

If a layout changes, call us before the walls are closed so we can adjust the wiring.
