Industrial power systems

Power wiring for plants, shops and processing facilities, planned around your production schedule and done to current electrical code.

A plant runs on its power system: the service coming in, the switchgear and panels, the feeders out to each area, and the circuits that serve machines, lighting and offices. When that system was built for a smaller operation, or has been added to piece by piece over the years, it gets hard to follow and hard to expand.

We install and work on power systems for manufacturing plants, processing facilities and shops with heavy equipment. That can mean wiring a new building, or sorting out years of add-ons so the system is easier to follow and safer to work on.

How it works

We start with a walk-through of the facility and a look at what you run now and what you plan to add. You get a free, written estimate before any work starts.

Most industrial work has to happen around production, so we plan any shutdowns with you and coordinate with the utility where needed. When the job needs a permit and inspection, we take care of it. When we finish, panel schedules and labels are updated to show what changed.

Signs you need it

When to give us a call.

Any of these is a good reason to have us take a look.

01

Adding a line or a shift

More machines or longer run times can push a system past what it was built to carry.

02

Nuisance tripping

Breakers that trip under normal production loads usually mean a circuit or feeder is undersized.

03

Panels with no spare room

If every space is full, the next piece of equipment has nowhere to connect.

04

Years of add-ons

Circuits added one at a time over decades can leave a system nobody fully understands.

05

Old or worn equipment

Aging switchgear and panels can be hard to find parts for and harder to service safely.

06

A new building or expansion

New square footage needs power planned from the service on down.

How it works

From first call to power on.

The same four steps whether it’s a service call or a full rewire.

    Call or request a quote

Tell us about the job by phone or with the form.

  2. 02

    Free estimate

We look at the work and explain your options.

  3. 03

    Written pricing

You get the price in writing before any work starts.

  4. 04

    Work done to code

Licensed electricians do the work to current code.

FAQ

Industrial power systems questions.

(910) 736-6898

Can you work in a facility that’s still running?

+
Yes. We plan the job so as much of it as possible happens while you keep running, and schedule any shutdowns with you ahead of time.

Can the work be done outside our production hours?

+
Ask us. We try to schedule around your production, and we’ll talk through timing when we give you the estimate.

Will we get documentation when the job is done?

+
Yes. We update panel schedules and label circuits so your maintenance staff can see what was changed.

Do we need a permit?

+
Most service and distribution work needs one. We’ll tell you what your job needs and handle the permit and inspection.

What does an estimate cost?

+
Nothing. We walk the site and give you a free, written estimate before any work starts.
