Emergency repairs

When something electrical fails and stops production, call us and we’ll find the fault and get your equipment back up safely.

Electrical failures at a plant never come at a good time. A motor quits, a breaker won’t reset, a panel starts smelling hot or a whole line goes dark, and the downtime starts adding up.

Call us when something fails. We’ll tell you how soon we can get there. Once on site, we find the cause before putting anything back in service, because restarting equipment on a fault that’s still there usually leads to the next failure.

How it works

We start by making the area safe: isolating the circuit, locking it out and confirming it’s dead before anyone works on it. Then we trace the problem back to its cause.

If we can make a permanent repair on the spot, we do. If a part has to be ordered, we’ll talk with you about whether a safe temporary fix can keep you going until it arrives. Afterward you get a written record of what failed and what we did, for your maintenance files.

Signs you need it

When to give us a call.

Any of these is a good reason to have us take a look.

01

A breaker that won’t stay reset

If a breaker trips again right after a reset, there’s a fault on the circuit. Don’t keep resetting it.

02

Burning smell or smoke

Shut the equipment down if it’s safe to do so, keep people back and call us.

03

A motor that won’t start

The cause can be the motor itself, its starter or the circuit feeding it.

04

Part of the plant has no power

Losing a whole area or panel points to a problem upstream in the distribution.

05

Sparks or arcing

Visible arcing is dangerous. Keep everyone clear of the equipment.

06

Water in electrical equipment

Flooding or a roof leak into panels or machines needs checking before anything is turned back on.
