A ductless mini split heats and cools a room or area without ductwork. People use them for additions, garages, bonus rooms and older homes without ducts. Every system needs electrical work to run, including a dedicated circuit from your panel and a disconnect near the outdoor unit.
We handle the electrical side. The units and refrigerant lines are installed by an HVAC contractor, and we make sure the power is sized for the equipment and installed to current electrical code.
How it works
Send us the spec sheet or model information for the system, or have your HVAC contractor share it. That tells us what size circuit the unit needs. We check your panel for space and capacity and give you a written estimate.
We then run the circuit, mount the disconnect and connect power to the outdoor unit, scheduled around your HVAC contractor’s work. If your panel is full, we go over the options before any work starts. A permit is usually part of the job.
