Cove City is a small town in western Craven County, out along US 70 with farmland on most sides. A lot of the houses here have been around a while, and many have been added onto more than once. That’s where we tend to find wiring that grew one project at a time: a circuit pulled for a window unit years ago, a porch light tied into whatever was closest, a panel that ran out of spaces long ago.
We’re based in Vanceboro, also in Craven County, so Cove City is part of our regular work area. We come out, look at what you have and give you a free written estimate before anything gets started.
Older wiring and add-ons
If your house still has a fuse box or an older panel, have someone look at it before you add a heat pump or an electric water heater. Sometimes the existing service can take the extra load. Sometimes it needs an upgrade first, and it’s better to know that before the new equipment shows up.
We also take the small jobs that get put off for months. An outlet that stopped working, a breaker that trips whenever the microwave and coffee pot run together, a bathroom with no GFCI protection. Those are usually quick to sort out once we trace the circuit and see what’s on it.
