Wilmar is a small rural community, and we do electrical work there the same way we do it at home in Vanceboro. Most calls are for houses, mobile and manufactured homes, and the outbuildings people keep on their land. Sometimes it’s a single problem, like a circuit that went dead. Other times a homeowner wants the whole house looked over.
In a small community you usually call someone because a neighbor used them. We try to earn that. We show up when we say we will, explain what we found, and put the price in writing before any work begins.
What a visit looks like
For a repair, we start by finding the cause. A breaker that keeps tripping might be an overloaded circuit, a bad appliance or a damaged wire, and each one has a different fix. We tell you which it is and what it will cost to correct before we touch anything.
For bigger jobs, like a panel upgrade, a new service for a manufactured home or a generator hookup, we come out, look at the setup and talk through your options. Some of that work needs a permit and an inspection, and the power company may have to be involved. We handle the paperwork side and let you know what to expect on timing. If the job can be done in stages to spread out the cost, we’ll say so.
